Placement Description

The original Lobster Boat Restaurant is located in Merrimack, New Hampshire and was established in 1984. It is owned and operated by Janet Johnston and John Thistle, who have run the dining room and kitchen in Merrimack for nearly 30 years, and continues to attract customers who are looking for a true New England seafood experience. Known best for its excellent food and relaxed vibe, the Merrimack Lobster Boat has proven to be a wonderful example for the other Lobster Boats that have followed in its footsteps.

The Lobster Boat in Litchfield, New Hampshire opened on May 1, 2002. The Litchfield restaurant is owned and operated by Ben Workinger, Jr. and Jon Workinger. While smaller than the original Boat, the Litchfield restaurant boasts a brick patio with outdoor seating to allow customers to enjoy their seafood in the sunshine on gorgeous spring, summer, and fall days.

At both Lobster Boat locations, our goal is a simple one – to make each guest’s visit an enjoyable one so that they will come back to visit us many times over. We work hard to uphold our company values and we hope that it shows. As you can see, we truly are a family establishment, and we would like nothing more than for you to come in and experience our hospitality and become a part of our family.
